Linda's Opinion Piece

Can't I have both?

Milk vs Almonds: Huh?

Look — I love milk on my cereal.
And I make my afternoon smoothie with almond milk.

So why am I being asked to choose one or the other?

Moralizing every choice is unhelpful.
This doesn’t feel like a real question.
It feels like someone asking me to name my favourite child.

Different things fit different moments.
Different needs. Different days.

I don’t see how choosing sides makes anything better.
I see how making room does.

Discussion Question:

Have you noticed a time when you were asked to choose between two things that didn’t actually need to compete?
