Uplifting Stories About Restoration

Wellspring is the quiet corner of this site where stories are not picked apart or tested. They are offered gently — as places to rest, to breathe, or to step into another way of seeing the world.

Original Short Stories, by Amber

These stories are offered freely, not as a gift, but as something left where it belongs. They are not meant to be gathered, owned, or remade. Like a rabbit in the wild, they are best met as they are — alive and free.

Amber lives quietly beside a little swamp where the birds seem to know her name and the fireflies live like fairies. She writes to draw out what was left unsaid, what was nearly forgotten – and to follow the path of remembering all the way back home.

For all the rabbits never meant to be pulled from hats, and the frogs with a poet’s soul – for the wild moments of spring, when the heart is light, the ground is soft, and every leap feels mad as a March hare.
