For simplicity, we will continue with the same set of words. Navigate back to the Pathways Menu and choose [Writing]. Let’s look at [Writing my unique sentence]

Today we'll begin using the words ourselves.

Open Write unique sentences.

Each word includes a simple read-aloud sentence followed by a gentle discussion prompt. The purpose of these prompts isn't to test you. They're there to encourage conversation and help learners connect the printed word with their own experiences. This is another way of remembering or anchoring the printed word.

If you're working with a coach, begin by talking about the prompt together. Create a sentence of your own using today's word.

If writing feels like too much today, that's perfectly fine. Simply saying the sentence aloud is valuable practice.

Your sentences are not stored locally. Instead, print the page and write one or two new sentences in the space provided.

Remember, the goal isn't perfect grammar. The goal is to build confidence using familiar words to express real ideas.
